Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and note physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate for cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical conditions. Full-time nights (7pm-7am), full-time days (7am-7pm), or weekend day shifts available at UAB St. Vincent's East. New grads welcome.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
