Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs in the MICU. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Work full-time nights from 7pm to 7am at UAB St. Vincent's East- Trussville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
- Full-Time Nights - 7pm-7am
- UAB St. Vincent's East- Trussville, AL
