Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs in the MICU. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, coordinating, and communicating patient conditions to the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines and carry out physician and nursing orders. Note and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with team members. Full-time nights shift (7pm-7am) at UAB St. Vincent's East.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
- Full-Time Nights - 7pm-7am
- UAB St. Vincent's East- Trussville, AL
