Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions, and serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Full-time night shift (7pm-7am) at UAB St. Vincent's East- Trussville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
