Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs, implementing and monitoring care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including carrying out physician and nursing orders and assessing discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Work full-time nights from 7pm to 7am at UAB St. Vincent's East in Trussville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
- Full-Time Nights - 7pm-7am
- UAB St. Vincent's East- Trussville, AL
