Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for patients with diagnoses ranging from pneumonia and COPD to CHF and diabetes. Implement and monitor patient care plans while serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, then assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Full-time night shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) with BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
