Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care for general medical/surgical patients on a 19-bed unit, implementing and monitoring individual care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Maintain BLS certification within 30 days of hire and hold current Alabama RN licensure.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
