RN - Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for a 19-bed Med Surg unit treating patients with diagnoses ranging from pneumonia to CHF. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Schedule is full-time nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. BLS certification and Alabama RN licensure are required.
