Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and note physician and nursing orders. Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Work full-time shifts in the Med Surg department at UAB St. Vincent's St. Clair, with available day and night options.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
