RN - Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Multiple Shifts

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and note physician and nursing orders. Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Work full-time days, nights, or weekend-only shifts at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham, with self-scheduling options available.
