Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for assigned patients using the Nursing Process, which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and re-evaluation of care with a holistic approach. Responsibilities also include preparing patients and significant others for optimal health maintenance before discharge, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants, and communicating patient needs to the multi-disciplinary Health Care Team. Continuous self-professional development is required through seminars and CEUs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- BLS certified

- BSN preferred
- Additional certifications are dependent on assigned care
