Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Requires one year of RN experience. Work as PRN staff at UAB St. Vincent's in Birmingham, serving the community with compassion and personalized care.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience
