RN - Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Days

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Document and communicate patient conditions as appropriate while carrying out physician and nursing orders. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification, and one year of RN experience. Works PRN at UAB St. Vincent's in Birmingham, offering generous paid time off and tuition reimbursement.
