Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Maintain BLS certification and current Alabama RN licensure with one year of RN experience. Work a PRN schedule at UAB St. Vincent's, a trusted provider of healthcare serving Alabama for over 125 years.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience
