RN - Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Days

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Document and communicate patient conditions as appropriate and carry out physician and nursing orders. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of RN experience. Works PRN shifts at UAB St. Vincent's in Birmingham, part of a 4,800-employee community focused on compassionate, collaborative service.
