RN - Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Days

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Work part-time days at UAB St. Vincent's in the MedSurg department.
