RN - Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Days

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Maintain BLS certification within 30 days of hire and hold current Alabama RN licensure. Work part-time days at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham, a trusted provider serving Alabama for over 125 years.
