Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of RN experience. Schedule is PRN at UAB St. Vincent's in Birmingham.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience
