RN/Registered Nurse Leader (NIGHTS) - Emergency Department

RN Leader (NIGHTS) in the Emergency Department leading across clinical leadership domains. Plan and provide advanced nursing care per Nursing Clinical Ladder guidelines. Serve in leadership roles spanning administration, education, informatics, and quality; guide education modules, staff development, and performance evaluations; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish and update standards of care, patient/family education, and unit education. Lead initiatives for quality improvement, practice standards, vendor interaction, and resource management; mentor colleagues and oversee orientation and precepting of nursing students; drive department-level and organizational initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes. Night shift 7p-7a, full-time with back-up call requirements and weekend/holiday coverage as needed. Requires BSN, NC RN licensure, BLS, and ED experience; familiarity with regulatory standards (TJC) and the DUHS ladder framework; strong leadership, teaching, and informatics capabilities.
