Job Summary
RN - Interventional Radiology (IR) at Mercy | Part Time, PRN. Provides patient care using the nursing process, maintains accountability for care delivered to assigned patients, evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers, coordinates patient care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license (state or compact), BLS (with other unit-specific certifications as required), and physical ability to perform duties (lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire
- ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS or other unit-specific certifications as required
- Ability to push, pull, lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
