Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology (IR) providing patient care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include maintaining professional accountability for care for assigned patients, evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers, coordinating patient care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy mission and service standards. Requires current RN license, BLS (and unit-specific certifications as required), ability to lift 50 pounds, and proficiency in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care within the IR setting. Part-time, PRN role based at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, with potential for varied shifts and responsibilities across the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and other position/unit required certifications like ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM as required
