Job Summary
RN - Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology (IR) for PRN/Part Time shift at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining accountability for care for assigned patients, evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers, coordinating patient care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN license (state or compact); BLS certification with potential unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, etc.). Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, and mobility tasks. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure for nursing duties performed
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or must attain within 30 days of hire
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and/or related certifications as required by position/unit (e.g., NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM) or unit-specific certifications
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking; ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
