Job Summary
RN - Interventional Radiology (IR), PRN, part-time. Provides patient care using the nursing process and maintains accountability for care delivered to assigned patients. Coordinates patient care with other departments and upholds patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy mission and service standards. Requires active RN license in the hiring state/compact, and BLS with potential unit-specific certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM). Duties include assessing and supporting patient needs, collaborating with care teams, and meeting physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and extended periods of standing/walking.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/other unit-specific certifications as required by the position/unit
- Physical ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking
