Job Summary
RN – Interventional Radiology (IR) nurse working PRN/Part Time at Mercy Hospital. Provides patient care using the nursing process, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinates patient care with other departments in alignment with Mercy service standards. Requires active RN licensure (state or compact) with BLS certification (and ACLS/PALS/other certifications as unit needs), and ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking). Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, maintaining standards, and contributing to a collaborative care team in the IR setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire
- ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required
- Physical requirements to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, ability to grip/reach/bend/kneel/twist/squat
