RN - Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Job Summary
Provide primary nursing support to the physician and patient to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient's condition. Educate patients on all aspects of medication and treatments, triage sick calls, and obtain vital signs to prepare patients for examinations. Administer medications, insert and monitor IVs, collect laboratory specimens, and clean and sterilize instruments according to established protocols. Inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure proper operation and maintain aseptic standards in procedure rooms. Execute ongoing patient communication and document medical histories and chief complaints. Requires one year of acute care RN experience with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Full-time, 40-hour schedule with 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 am; some call required after orientation.
Required Qualifications
- One year of acute care RN work experience
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program
- Minimum of 1 year Related work experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Full-time, 40 hours weekly
- 10-hour shifts
- Shifts range from 7:00 am start time
- 4 days per week after orientation is completed
- Some call required
Desired Qualifications
- RN critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS and PALS at time of hire
- BLS, ACLS and PALS required after hire
