Job Summary
Care for patients with various illnesses, injuries, and diseases in medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools. Work with physicians, nurses, CNAs, and aides to deliver patient care, taking vitals, performing assessments, documenting progress, and reporting changes to the RN supervisor. Assist in carrying out physician orders, administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment. Maintain an active, unrestricted RN license in Michigan, hold CPR certification, and demonstrate clinical proficiency and critical thinking skills. Full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with no mandate to stay past shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with active, unrestricted license in the State of Michigan
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency
- Critical thinking skills
- Good communicator
- Compassionate
