Job Summary
Travel ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Huntington, WV. Responsible for delivering comprehensive, high-acuity critical care in the ICU, including assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, operating advanced life-support equipment, administering complex medications, and performing advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Requires CCRN certification, an active RN license, and at least one year of ICU experience. Duties include accurate documentation, patient and family education, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, adherence to infection control protocols, and engagement in quality improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes safety, professional ethics, and ongoing professional development in a high-stress setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in state of West Virginia or applicable state regulations
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- Minimum one year of recent ICU nurse experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to operate life-support equipment and perform advanced critical care procedures
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters)
- Ability to document patient care accurately and timely
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety in high-acuity ICU settings
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
