Job Summary
Travel ICU RN for a 13-week contract in Sanford, NC. The ICU RN provides comprehensive critical care to patients in the intensive care unit, administering complex medications and treatments, operating advanced life-support equipment, and performing hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters). Responsibilities include documenting assessments and interventions in the medical record, educating patients and families, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, maintaining infection-control practices, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations
- One year of recent ICU experience
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
