RN Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Travel / Contract - Night

ICU Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Glendale, AZ. Responsible for providing comprehensive critical care in the ICU, including assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients, operating life-support equipment, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrates strong critical care skills, clinical judgment, and commitment to patient safety. Administers complex medications, manages advanced life support devices, ensures patient safety and comfort in high-acuity environments, performs advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters), documents assessments and interventions, educates patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations, communicates with healthcare teams, maintains proficiency through ongoing education, and adheres to infection control and regulatory standards. Maintains equipment, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and supports hospital safety protocols. Requires ability to read/write/communicate in English; physical and mental requirements include mobility, strength, dexterity, and the capacity to work under pressure.
