Job Summary
Travel ICU RN for a 13-week contract in Boston, MA. Responsible for providing comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, administering complex medications and treatments, operating advanced life-support equipment, and performing hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP, pulmonary artery catheters). Documentation of assessments and interventions, patient/family education, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ongoing education to maintain proficiency in critical care, adherence to infection control and regulatory standards, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Must maintain high standards of patient safety and ethics in high-acuity settings; strong critical care skills and communication required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- One year of recent ICU RN experience
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
