RN - Registered Nurse - Infusion

Part-time Home Infusion Nurse coordinates and delivers comprehensive infusion therapy services in home, infusion suite, and other clinical settings. Responsible for coordinating referrals, verifying demographics, clinical history, authorizations, and consents; developing individualized care plans based on thorough patient assessments including venous system evaluation; preparing and administering infusion medications using aseptic technique; performing vascular access procedures and lab draws; educating patients and caregivers on therapy protocols, equipment use, and vascular access care; monitoring therapy progress and adjusting care plans; communicating with providers, pharmacists, and interprofessional teams to ensure continuity and quality care; maintaining accurate EMR documentation and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols; responding to patient/caregiver concerns; participating in infusion protocol development and quality improvement; supporting 24/7 care through on-call rotations; travel to patient homes and clinical sites; supervising Licensed Practical Nurses; typically performed in a clinical environment; part-time 20 hours weekly with rotating weekends/holidays.
