Job Summary
Assess assigned patients and implement their Plan of Care while adhering to INS, IgNS, and state regulations. Manage vascular access devices, including insertion of peripheral infusion devices and venipuncture for labs. Collaborate with pharmacy, providers, and patients to monitor therapy goals and coordinate care with home health agencies. Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration and home infusion protocols. Complete patient documentation at the site of service, participate in on-call rotation, and submit monthly expense reports. Drive to patient homes in Yuma and surrounding areas for 100% of visits, performing tasks requiring lifting up to 30 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must meet company standards for driving record as well as driver age requirement
- Percentage of Travel: 100%-Regular driving to patient's homes for visits is required as part of this position
- **To perform this role will require constantly sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, crouching, stooping and typing on a keyboard with fingers. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 10-30 lbs**
Desired Qualifications
- Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred
- Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred
