Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Full-time nights, three 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., or PRN nights and rotating. Requires Alabama Board of Nursing licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and ACLS within 180 days. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
