Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the ICU while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care by noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Work full-time nights on three 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., or on PRN nights and rotating shifts at UAB St. Vincent's St. Clair.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
