Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team, serving as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Full-time nights shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) or PRN rotating nights are available. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
