Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the ICU, implementing and monitoring patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs. Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Maintain accurate records and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Requires BLS and Advanced Life Support certification within 30 and 180 days of hire, respectively, along with Alabama RN licensure. Available for full-time nights (3x 12-hour shifts) or PRN rotating nights. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
