Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in ICU, implementing and monitoring patient care plans per established policies and protocols. Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess/coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND Required professional licensure at time of hire
