Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate, serving as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This full-time role involves three 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with PRN options available for nights and rotating schedules. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
