Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
