Job Summary
RN Hospice House — Inpatient hospice unit providing end-of-life care. Responsibilities include assessing and managing symptoms (pain), administering medications, updating care plans, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary hospice team. Also supports and educates families, offering emotional reassurance during difficult times. Requires active RN license in Kansas, ADN or BSN, CPR/BLS, and strong communication/documentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license (Kansas)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to assess patients and manage symptoms
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification
