Job Summary
The Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care for assigned patients, implementing the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for discharge and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants when applicable. The nurse collaborates with a multi-disciplinary Health Care Team to communicate patients' needs effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- BLS certified
- Continuous self-professional development by attending seminars and maintaining CEU's
