Job Summary
Assess patients and document care plans specific to the genetics unit competencies. Coordinate delivery and education through collaboration with patients, families, and health care team providers to ensure safe, effective, and quality care. Follow organizational policies while performing required professional, clinical, and technical competencies as assigned. This part-time PRN role supports the University of Kansas Health System, a premier academic medical center in Kansas City dedicated to complex care and life-changing treatments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years
- 1 or more years as a Registered Nurse
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing Kansas or Missouri (or compact license)
- Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS HS) (Non-Clinical) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 14 days
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
