Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, covering all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care plans through collaboration with families and interdisciplinary providers, while performing resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting. Full-time role with 36 weekly hours and a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
