Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, covering all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate resident assessments, education, and interventions while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires an unencumbered RN license, Bachelor's degree preferred, and 36 weekly hours. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
