Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, managing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providers, families, and delegates to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks within appropriate scopes and ensuring safe administration of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment interventions. Maintain competency in state practice standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Full-time role with 36 weekly hours and a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
