Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment across all phases of preventative care and health maintenance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires an unencumbered RN license, preferred Bachelor's degree, and 36 weekly hours on a 12-hour day shift with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
