Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, managing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state licensure standards and the Nurse Practice Act. This full-time weekend role offers 12-hour day shifts with a weekly schedule of 36 hours. Candidates earn between $34.00 and $48.00 per hour and are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
