Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care, manage preventative health, and handle diagnosis and treatment. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. This full-time role includes 12-hour day shifts with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
