Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, managing assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, educate residents, and implement preventative health measures. Serve as charge nurse when needed, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident services. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards. Full-time role with 36 weekly hours and a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
