Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to coordinate care and resolve service concerns. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain full scope of nursing expertise in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires unencumbered RN license and Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time day shifts with 12-hour rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
